Message from National Society of Professional Surveyors Foundation

Hurricane Florence came ashore at Wrightsville Beach, near Wilmington, North Carolina, and as predicted, moved very slowly. This storm thankfully was reduced to a "Category 1" storm, but was still a devastating event. The torrential rains are just coming to an end, but will continue to be a major factor in causing streams and rivers to reach record flood stages through Wednesday! As the storm moved "oddly" Southwest then North, the Appalachians were affected, resulting in additional flooding, and tornadoes struck as far North as Virginia. Early damage estimates are placed at 22 billion dollars! That is a major disaster!

Your fellow surveyors in the Southeast will need your help in a few days! As sure as you are reading these words, the grant requests will start coming in!

How do you want "Your Foundation" to be able to respond? Your Foundation wants to be there for them, but we need your help and donations to do it!

Please mark "Disaster Relief Fund" on your checks, and send to NSPS headquarters (5119 Pegasus Court, Ste. Q, Frederick, MD 21704)
