Land Surveying Pre-proposal Meetings - Protecting Your Client is in Your Best Interest

No technical skill or knowledge is as important to sustaining business as the communication between the professional and the client. No tool is better for that than a well-planned and orchestrated pre-proposal meeting. In this course, we will refer to the NYS Consumer Bill of Rights and the surveyor's ethical obligation to their client. We will discuss the importance of project communication and how to better prepare yourself and your client for the pre-proposal meeting. We will address the meeting data and how it should be presented, step by step. We will end with a summary and Q&A.

 Seminar Goals and Objectives

  1. Obtain all necessary project data from the pre-proposal meeting.
  2. Meet consumer obligations in proposal preparation and be well aware of the NYS Consumer Bill of Rights.
