***IMPORTANT EVENT UPDATE***

Workshop rescheduled as a LIVE webinar series!

In light of the recent coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and encouragement from our government to limit gatherings, we feel it is necessary to cancel our in-person NYS Exam Review Workshop scheduled for next week, March 27-28.

We’ve also learned from our friends at the New York State Board of Engineering Land Surveying and Geology, that the April LS exam has been temporarily “postponed”, with a new date not yet announced. In the meantime, we have worked with our presenter, Dr. Paiva, to design a creative and comprehensive online learning experience that will prepare you for the approaching exam in the comfort of your home (or office).

Online Webinar Sessions

We’ve outlined the following webinar schedule to accomplish what you would have learned in our typical 2-day course. Each session will feature a LIVE presentation from Dr. Paiva and will encourage discussion, questions and will feature interactive quizzes through a secure weblink. You can join the sessions on your computer or tablet. Can’t make all the webinar dates? No worries! We do encourage you to attend all sessions to benefit the most from the program, however, we will also record each of the sessions and can give you access to anything you missed! Please note to get the most out of these webinars, you will be assigned readings, and possibly video viewings, prior to each webinar event.

This review course has been strategically planned to coincide prior to the NYS surveyor licensure exam date.  Participants will leave with a voluminous reference manual containing NYS rules, statutes, laws and other pertinent study reference materials, including technical references, sample test questions and case law summaries.

Offered at reduced rates for NYSAPLS members!  Don’t
miss your chance to experience an interactive, intensive preparatory session that will not only review surveying topics on the exam, but will help you understand how to prepare to take an exam of this magnitude. In exchange for this preferred rate, attendees will be requested to complete a questionnaire after the course as well as after taking the exam, to help improve the methods of teaching, material in the manual and topics covered in the course.
